Refund Policy
You can evaluate BadHop for as long as you like before paying anything. The free version is the full product — every feature, no time limit, no payment details — capped at three simultaneous monitoring targets. A licence exists solely to remove that cap. We'd encourage running the free version against something real for as long as it takes, since it answers most of the "will this actually work for me" questions a refund request would normally be about. Teams that need to evaluate beyond three targets can request a time-limited trial licence before buying.
Our policy
Once a licence key has been issued and activated, refunds aren't automatic. That said, genuine problems get resolved case by case, this includes things like accidental duplicate purchases, a licence key that won't activate due to a fault on our side, or the software simply not working as described. Contact support@badhop.co.uk with your order details and we'll sort it out directly.
Your statutory rights
If you're a consumer based in the UK or EU, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital purchase within 14 days under consumer protection law. That right generally lapses once you begin downloading or using digital content with your consent — which is one reason the unlimited free version exists: everything a licence unlocks can be evaluated in full, indefinitely, before any purchase, so the buying decision never has to happen ahead of the evaluation. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.
How refunds are processed
All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record, so any refund we approve is issued by Lemon Squeezy back to your original payment method. Lemon Squeezy's own policies note they may issue refunds within 60 days of purchase at their discretion, independent of our policy above, mainly to prevent payment disputes and chargebacks.
Business licences
The same principles apply to Business Licences. Given the per-seat model starts at a minimum of 5 seats, if you're unsure whether BadHop fits your team's needs, get in touch at sales@badhop.co.uk before purchasing and we can talk it through.
